At Fresenius Kidney Care, we are proud of the way our clinical teams provide skilled and compassionate care for patients every day, all over the world.
In 2020, which is both the year that the COVID-19 pandemic has swept the world, and the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, your role is more important than ever before. You have gone above and beyond to look after our most vulnerable, often making personal sacrifices to do so. You have literally become our frontline heroes.
That is why we want you to know just how much we admire, respect and care for you. The Hearts for Hearts Hub is one powerful way we can demonstrate that.
Hearts for Hearts is an online hub that is entirely about you and for you – that you can access anywhere, anytime from any device. It is a place to celebrate the joys and acknowledge the challenges of what it means to be a dialysis nurse or clinical technician in the 21st Century. Our hope is that Hearts for Hearts will make life a little better for you.
Here you will find information, resources and practical tools to help you navigate the challenges of COVID-19, as well as those that come with working in a caring profession at any time. From stories that showcase our nurse heroes, to blog articles of interest to you, to simple yoga and meditation practices, we have you covered and with more content being added all the time.
We’ve also extended that support to your family – providing tools to help explain COVID-19, help them stay healthy, and to provide much-needed education and valuable entertainment, especially while they are staying at home.
The content on Hearts for Hearts will keep evolving, so you will always find something new here. As we gradually begin to emerge on the other side of this pandemic, you will find content that supports you in our ‘new normal’ way of life.
We would love to hear what you think of your new site: What have you enjoyed most? What would you like to see more of? Do you have a story you would like to contribute? Remember that this is your hub, and we want you to help shape it. Let us know at [email protected]
From our heart to yours
